Get More Visitors
So, has your site been up for a while or is it brand new?It matters. An old site has a reputation of not being attractive to customers and will take a bit longer to let people [and search engines] know that the site is under new management, so to speak. As long as you plan for that by re-doubling the marketing efforts of a new site, everything will be fine.
I also set the record for getting to the first page of Google; 8 days - learn more
Here are some quick tips to get more visitors to your website:
- identify your target audience and e-mail your prospects
- give them something of value, like I did with the free chapter from my book (see above). This will quickly build your database
- create an affiliate program where everyone makes money by helping each other
- write a few articles; again, something to give away while building brand awareness
- join a reputable link program, but only for a short-term so as not to damage your credibility with Google - this is the one I created
- do not forget about traditional marketing like mailings
- use sites like Craigslist.org to get information out about you and your site
- learn and use social networks like Facebook, MySpace, Google, etc.
